Maybe they’re adopting Costcos playbook. Undercut everyone enough so that you get a reputation as a discount store and then charge whatever you want and people think they’re getting a great deal. Oh and sell in different quantities than other retailers so price checking becomes a hassle for most.

I used to shop on the Monsey one all the time. Yes they are still slightly cheaper on some things. I have found that factoring sales in the regular stores they are in many cases more expensive. Even some non sale items are cheaper in local stores now. Hard pressed to find a deal there these days.

In theory, can this be kashered just by turning it on and letting it run for a while? 932F is over libun gamur.
How well does stainless steel (according to the amazon pictures, both 304 and 430) do at such high temps, wouldn't it start getting discolored?

Monsey prices are very similar to the local stores, once you factor in the sales in local stores. Bingo sales have been few and far in between.

as long as your not makpid on nitzotzos , should be very easy to kasher...

Lakewood is much cheaper for many items, especially dairy.

I'm pretty sure that all Bingo's have the same pricing. So basically it depends on the competitions prices. That being the case, Bingo 5towns will be way cheaper than the other neighborhood stores on almost all products. Looking forward to that.

I don’t think that is correct regarding pricing being the same.

I don’t think that is correct regarding pricing being the same.

Unless something changed in the past 1.5 years, as long as the SKU is the same, it has to be the same price. That's the way their software works. And I don't they're putting different SKUs on the same product. I heard this first hand from somebody who used to be very high there (again, this was about 1.5 years ago. And he's no longer there.)
