Eh. As someone who is in the pest control biz for a number of years, 90% of home fruit fly issues are a result of standing water. They are just attracted to those sugary things once in the house. But the breeding takes place ( thus the continuous life cycle of new ones) by standing water.
Is the theory that no matter how much you catch them they will keep coming back?
