Why do you need it to fill up with water all the way?
My current Maytag machine only has auto sensing and it doesn’t clean the clothes.
But when you open the lid before it starts the cycle to have it fill up with more water, it cleans the clothes.

Any recommendations for good machine that cleans clothes and fills up with water all the way.
I have a speed queen. Basic no frills machine with small medium large settings (plus auto). Came with a ten year warranty, not sure if they are still offering that

LG and GE front loaders are great
We have been unburdened by what has been.

I am very happy with my stacked top loader mentioned above. There are still similar models out there.

Looking for a top loader, any deals out there currently? Any specific recommendations?
If it's not free shipping it's not worth it.

Any recent DP? Anyone have a samsung top loader?

Edit: I've been reading lots of different places online and I've found that for every person that swears by brand X, you have another who says it's the worst thing ever. So ultimately I'm left with nothing. First I was looking at LG because some said they were the best of the best and then I see others that said they are terrible. Then I looked into GE and the same thing, some love and others passionately hate them. Now I'm looking at saumsung but again, some say they're the best and others who say they should stick to tv's and phones.

I guess it just boils down to the price?
