According to his sources, the hechsher is the same, but the slaughterhouse and shochtim changed. He also claims that the standards used at the new slaughterhouse are not the same are the original one. IF this is true, his concerns and complaints are very valid.

Given that the hechsher is the same (CRC Brooklyn), I think that the store shouldn't be the one bearing responsibly to announce a change in the manufacturing site, if the consumer relies on CRC they should complain to CRC for not announcing the change in manufacturing and most importantly the change in standards.

It sounds like OPs mistake was relying on CRC in the first place to uphold standards that the CRC themselves officially don't consider a requirement.

Many people mistakingly equate CRC meat/poultry = Satmar meat/poultry (standards)

Or that if a brand/plant is owned by the same owner that the same standards apply.

Just for example this week, I was looking at a certain brand of smoked salmon that has a mashgiach temidi and figured out that they have another brand producing 100% identical products at the very same facility, which is usually cheaper, I could've of course chosen to "believe" that all their brands have the same standards, but instead I emailed them, and they advised that brand 1 indeed has a mashgiach temidi but brand 2 doesn't

CRC never said lahadam. They are just not responding.

I saw the boxes with my own eyes and verified with the department manager. It's not just a rumor. You can ask him yourself.

To clarify: CRC has many shechitas under their supervision. Marvid (now at Kolsave for today at least), Mesorah, special run at Empire, and more. Not all meet the same level in hidur. For example, Satmar KJ will only accept Mesorah. All Bingo's use strictly Mesorah farms. The owners and managers told many people this location would be the same. They switched this location only without telling anybody. It still meets CRC standards, but it is not the same as Mesorah.

If this would happen in their other locations, people would wreak havoc. It happened here because of someone's personal financial interest. They convinced Bingo that the 5 Towns crowd only eats Empire due to their "high quality". They told Bingo they would never make it here if they sell Mesorah and that people were not happy with it. That is why they switched. It's a total lie. Seasons is the most expensive in town and uses strictly KJ/Mesorah. Someone got a kickback for this, and that person is a powerful fellow.

So why did you assume this was a case of;

Hisachdus sends some guy to Empire who wraps the Empire Boxes with Hisachdus tape and sends it to our Bingo only. They do absolutely nothing else ate the Empire plant besides taping the boxes.

If you actually can get through to Hisachdus, did you ask them what hidurim they add and why their run is "special". Or you're satisfied enough to hear they are not just taping boxes. Ask him what they do different, and please share. I sincerely want to know.
