My flight on UA from ORD to PVG got diverted to SFO to pick up a pilot (they claimed our pilot got injured). Instead of landing at 2, I landed at 8, which made me miss two important meetings in Shanghai. During the flight to PVG they emailed me that they will give me $300, I emailed them what the delayed flight caused...

Should I try again? If yes by email or by phone?

FTFY I think...

I don't get your story.
1)During the flight they emailed you a voucher
2)You emailed them back that they caused you lots of problems with your meetings
3)You are asking if you should email them

Shouldn't there be a step between 2 and 3 where they emailed you back after you complained?

Correct, they responded to my email with the exact same email as the original email that they emailed everyone on the flight.

Does anyone have experience with a quality EU compensation firm? Iberia won't budge even though their plane from ORD-MAD hit another plane while taxiing. Delayed 7+ hrs.

Yes. From what I hear, Iberia puts up a fight. They're claiming extraordinary circumstances, but I believe reasonable precautions could have prevented the accident, and that the accident was human error. We've gone back and forth about 3-4 times. No one at the airport informed us of our rights either.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZyzjJEn7Tlo

Not sure. Didn't know or keep in touch with anyone from that flight. It was going to CDG, so I'm assuming they would be eligible as well.

Usair lost my bag a few months ago, and they reimbursed me for what I had to but while waiting for the bag to be found. Ended up being $179

Booked my bro in law and his wife and 2 kids (5&2) with avios. On return trip from LGA to ORD, AA could/would not seat all 4 of them together. Initially all 4 were separate, but after they fought, they managed to get each parent next to one child, but many rows apart. There were empty seats on the plane.
Anything they can get? Who should they complain to?

They were going to sit all 4 of them separately.
They had to fight with the agent to get a parent to sit with each child and they would not put all 4 of them together.
There were empty seats on the flight and they could have been easily accommodated.
