As I'm on the plane UA202 to OGG  I get this one. Keep in mind I am using the wifi as I type this.

How long was your delay? Last December I had a 5 hour delay and was only offered a $100 e-voucher.

8 hrs. My initial offer was $125 cert but i sent them the Israel law email.

My brother had to sit next to a couple with a smelly, messy, screaming baby on AA LAX-JFK. They offered to switch him to a middle seat elsewhere, but he said no thanks. Is there still chance for comp?

Absolutely ridiculous thread.
I'm just waiting to see someone write... I was sitting in economy eating my kosher meal and saw that the treif first class meal was better than mine. Then i noticed that the person in front of me got their drink before me! Then he got an extra ice cube in their drink. Now my blood was really boiling!
I asked the flight attendent if i could switch to a seat in front of him thinking that i might get my drink first at the next meal and maybe I'd get 2 extra ice cubes. The FA said there were no extra seats as it was a full flight. So i demanded that i be upgraded to first class and she said no!!
Is there still chance for compensation?????? :-\::)

If you had to buy a few items in the meanwhile, most airlines will pay (reasonable amounts... Not crazy)
