Paying the difference is a risk I'm willing to take. As for being permanently banned from united over a $100 voucher they issued to me and never rescinded? I think I'll take that chance as well. But hey, I'm a gambling man/woman ;)
Why not check on UA.com? Just make a dummy booking and on the last page enter your cert info and see what the value is. If its showing both active, just wait a week to make sure they are not on it to void it, after that just use it. In this case I would not be concerned at all about UA coming after me.

Do I need receipts or just proof that bag was delayed for more than 24 hours?

The cc is reimbursing you for expenses so you need the receipts that show what you bought while they were missing. If you didnt buy anything they wont remimburse.

And its not 24 delay hrs its about 6. 24 hrs would be 2 days reimbursement.

So for 48 hours I can claim 3 days? The rep told me its $100 a day up to 3 days
ETA: Not really relevant anyway as I didn't spend over $200

Asking for a friend: JetBlue cancels last flight MCO-LGA due to "air traffic". They gave Hotel and dinner vouchers. What should real compensation be?

My guess is that their plane came in too late to make it back to LGA before midnight-5am LGA quiet time.

Got details a bit wrong. Was yesterday. They were scheduled MCO-EWR 6pm and they couldnt be accommodated on 930. Given choice stay overnight or fly to LGA arriving at midnight. They live in jersey.

Thats bad. I guess if the seat just does not recline then you can get a refund or a free ticket etc..

Airline: OS
Flight: TLV-VIE
Class: Business (M&M award ticket)
Incident: M&M failed to ticket my infant properly. Airport agents had no idea how to add infant ticket to award reservation. Waited 2 hours (w/ infant) and had to pay $150 while they tried to figure things out.

Refund + 10k M&M points

Switch seats?

+1. If nothing in F is available, at least switch to J and get something out of it.
