Last summer I had AA award booking for me and my family (baby and small kids) PHL-TLV in Businesses.
The flight got cancelled due to maintenance,
They re-booked me without asking into economy the next day with BA with a stop in London
They didn't want to give us any taxi vouchers or hotel vouchers
We didn't have ksml on our flights
We had to repack our luggage as they were 70lb. and I lost my prepaid hotel reservation.
After going back and forth by email the only thing AA gave is $200 voucher per passenger, anyway to get them to give something more?
You should definitely file a DOT complaint. And for the future remember that they HAVE to get you on a different flight in business class ASAP even there is no award availability at the time.
You can say what you think when you think what you say.

No, I didn't get it. I wanted $ for a new suitcase to replace the broken one, not miles.

Not making a claim with CC insurance?
I realized afterwards that I actually had travel insurance, so I just made a claim with that.

$100 UA certificate, for a broken entertainment system, and being stuck in my middle seat for almost the whole flight, due to the bassinet. ( It was not possible to get out of my seat, w/o lifting up the bassinet, and climbing over the aisle seat )

had a almost 4hr delay with aa landed to find this in my inbox, very proactive.

3,000 seems low for 4 hours. What was the reason for the delay?

If anyone has information on the European Flight Delay Compensation Regulation, and is willing to give me some advice, please point me in the right direction or shoot me a PM so we can chat.

The issue was 7 passengers on an elal flight delayed 6 hours.

Thank you
