Flight on Iberia J class. Women had her dog on the plane , and the dog pooped at the beginning of the flight, and smelled up the whole cabin throughout the whole flight.
Is this compensation worthy ?

Surely you don't mean from the airline...  How is that their fault?

Maybe don't allow animals on the plane, since their bowel movements can't be controlled ?!
I don't think that's fair to other passengers, to have them sit 5-6 hours in a cabin that smells like DREK.

Their rules are they *do* allow animals on the plane. You're charged with knowing, understanding, and consenting to their rules when you fly.

If you don't like it, you're more than welcome to drive to your destination.

So your telling me that if somebody brings a child into your cabin, with no diaper on, and then poops on the seat or whatever, you'll be ok with that, bec. the airlines don't have a rule that your kid needs to have a diaper to prevent accidents ?!?!

So you're telling me that the airline should compensate you for everything on a plane outside of their control? So if you're plane gets put in a traffic holding pattern, or has a bit of turbulence, they "owe you?"

After all, they had the audacity to *let this* happen on *their* plane!

Nobody said they owe you. Many times when flights are delayed for a few hours people get compensation   due to the inconvenience, even though it's not in the airlines control. Mechanical issues are not always in their  control either. Stuff break, that's the way it goes.

Wrong.

They have an obligation to ensure their planes are operating in good condition. When they fall short of that obligation, they usually compensate.

They do not have an obligation to ensure a mother changes a smelly baby.

If you don't see the fundamental difference between those two, I'm not sure anything I say will help.
