I wrote a message to United (on the united website) on Friday (Jan. 20) about a flight of mine they messed up a whole bunch of things, haven't heard back yet.
Was this the right place to complain? How long do they take to respond to a complaint?

On UA EWR-TLV now. Delayed almost 2 hours so far. At what point do we get compensation?

I once flew Azerbaijan Airlines. The damaged the handle of my stroller. I filed a claim at the airport and tried dealing with Azerbaijan but they just told me on the phone that they wont reimburse for the handle because it is still in good condition.
I contacted CSP and filed a claim with them, the problem is that they want written confirmation from the airline that they wont cover it before CSP get involved.
What should I do? I have sent many emails to the head office in Azerbaijan and I have called/texted the head in NY but to no avail

Hi. asking for a family member who flew united F HNL-EWR seats were disgusting, sticky full of chew candy all over the seat, the overhead lights weren't closing, crew tried to place tin foils over the lights still didn't help. I have pictures of everything


contact united customer care, they offered me $50 voucher.

is there any other way to speak to a normal customer care support agent? should I post it social media ?

they gave $200X3 for me wife and son in travel bank.

Lucky you that they let you take it gateside. by me they wouldn't even let that and they rerouted me...

Their staff at Ben Gurion airport is far from helpful or caring.
Airlines sending me "We're in this together" emails.

AC, for not getting my bag for the whole stay, they are offering $300 USD cash, or $600 voucher.

it was a 5 day trip, the bag actually arrived a day later, but the delivering company, delivered it only after returning home, so it was returned to AC, & was delivered back home within 2 days.

TK flight from IST to ATL was cancelled, so rebooked on UA via EWR (coming from TLV). However, UA flight arrives ATL about 4 hours later, making it too late to get onto any other flight to final destination (not a major airport). Is there any compensation legally due? Can passenger demand to be put on DL flight out of EWR so he gets to ATL earlier? If yes, can he expect them to honor a request to fly him to his final destination (not on his original ticket?).
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!
