Hey. Stuck in a stopover with +3 hour delay. (China southern) 1) does Citi cover for only the first leg delay or any part.
 2) more importantly. Do they give you $500 back or you have to go out and spend the money actually.
I have 1 hour to buy things if that's how hey work... Asap regarding 2 if you know.

For DL comp, is filling out their post flight survey going to do the job? They apologized for the delay and asked my opinion via survey. I left bad feedback and will proceed further if need be.

I had the same reaction when I heard this.

the reason I asked is because a friend claims hid friend has done this a few times already and got $500!

Oh pls, I'm fighting with Swiss for a delay which resulted in another stop, messed up seats, no bassinet, no kosher food, arrived 12 hours late and they said go fly a kite

I'm not sure why you quoted me, but, yeah, Swiss is extremely stingy. I also had an issue with them. They refused to budge. Incidentally, I booked the itinerary with United miles, I asked them politely for some comp, even though it totally wasn't their fault, but Swiss was not being considerate. They did comp me a bit.

Amazon was on there about a year ago when Delta sent me that as compensation.
