You need an 8 hour delay to get money.
I'm not who you think I am.

You have to arrive 8 hours later than scheduled (which can theoretically happen even with only a 7 hour delay).

i know, that’s why I asked if there’s anything to expect, given the fact that they’re not obligated.

Flew with five passengers and had 4 bags delayed for about three days. I did a lot of shopping in the interim, but British Airways only agreed to refund me 1500 dollars. They said that is their cap. Wouldnt it make sense that the cap applies to one passenger, and it should be raised when there are more passengers?
You should be entitled to that amount on a per person basis not on a per ticket.

You should submit separate claims per each passenger and different receipts [or highlight items per passenger].

Not 100% on this, but seems so.
Always praying for delayed baggage.

Can't speak for Amex but Chase is sort of worthless, had issues every time. Just buy travel insurance, it's pretty cheap if just for baggage etc
Which Insurance did you use that was cheap?

Thanks

am I not in titled to receive €600?
Claim agency?

KLM makes a big fuzz that you "shouldn't" use an EU261 Claim Agency. If I were you I would respond that they should reconsider or you will contact a claim agency (See here https://blog.klm.com/claim-compensation/)

Anyone ever used/heard of flightright.com ?

Is there a better agency to use?

Here is a partial list of EU261 "Claim" agencies (or as IATA calls them EU 261 "Farms")
https://www.airhelp.com
https://www.bottonline.co.uk/flight-delay-compensation
https://www.refund.me/b2b/
https://getservice.com/
http://www.flightbucks.com/

I have attached an ad from the local Jewish papers. I take no responsibility for any of these listing

If you need insurance just for the "Trip" = meaning from when the aircraft takes off - an not before the trip to cancel etc - try the "Pack N Go" plan from Travel Guard

Are you referring to the Travel Insurance? I had good experience with Travel Guard & TravelEx, and bad experience with Chase aka Allianz

I've had good experience with Travel Insured (a number of times) and with RoamRight.

They wanted to give me just $150 I emailed them to call me, they called me and I told them I’m done with KLM so the supervisor said they can give me $300 max....
And the they are not untitled for the €600 because flight was delayed due to air traffic....
