Maybe you have the flight numbers mixed up.
UA 90 was delayed for over 17 hours.
For THAT flight you're entitled to 3100 NIS as per Israeli law.

sorry but your incorrect, israeli compensation law does not apply to united airline flight when it is departing usa, ua 91 departed tlv is entitled to compenstaion, and once delayed 8 hours you are entitled to full israeli compensation

that isn't accurate IME with united Israeli compensation law applies to all flights to and from Israel unlike the European law

Just got the exact same email today.
I wonder if they sent it to everyone or only to those who sent them a claim letter.

Select: customer relations-complaint-delayed/cancelled flights.
In your complaint mention the EU compensation law, and add any additional receipts of expenses you incurred.
It can take a month or so for them to respond, but you’ll get your $ eventually.

United EWR-TLV 10/03 11:10 PM flight is currently delayed to 10/04 3:00 PM (a 16 hour delay! ended up being delayed over 17 hours), due to a mechanical issue.

1 - What compensation should we be getting for this long delay and how?

Received a check today from United for $965.22 (the equivalent of 3100 NIS).
Thanks for your help.

Brand new American Tourister suitcase broken by United.
Purchased it for $80+tax, but was on sale and usually costs $140+tax.
United offered $100 travel voucher that expires in 2 years.
Should we accept?
Thanks.
Since the ticket was purchased with Chase Sapphire Reserve, the lost/damaged luggage insurance covered the cost of the suitcase.
Interesting to note, that we clearly informed them (& showed them) that United gave a $100 ETC, yet they still said that they would cover since an ETC doesn't replace the suitcase.
