Should be eligible for compensation under Israeli aviation law. IME, Wizz were very good about it.

any help would be greatly appreciated:
booked multi city flight via orbitz on brussels airlines (operated by lufthansa) tlv-fra-phl jfk-fra-tlv for march 23 thru april 18. last week they cancelled the first leg of the flight and they want to put me on an earlier flight which would entail a 4 hour stopover in fra (was supposed to be 2.15). I do not want such a long stopover, travelling with infant, but they claim they have no other option. they are offering this flight or full refund. i want them to offer flight on another airline or even a direct flight to ewr but they wont do it. the flights are now way more expensive than when i booked, so full refund wouldnt help. do i have any recourse here? thanks so much

Ask them specifically to put you on the 5 am flight via ZRH to EWR (1h40 layover) if that works for you, they should be able to do so.
PM me for a good deal on flights

Would I be eligible for compensation here:
United flight got delayed they wanted to bump me to next day so instead I choose an airport a few hours away. However there are no one way rental cars, would United be responsible to give me compensation?

Breeze Airways. 1 hour into a 5 hour flight the lavatories wouldn’t flush because they didn’t empty the waste bin before takeoff. Sent an email and got nada!

If you have receipts then you get the expenses reimbursed. Also, you can ask for a ETC. PM for help.
I asked for $400 voucher per pax plus reimbursement costs. They're offering $400 total.

You’re lucky they didn’t decide to turn the plane around due to no working bathrooms (yes, airlines have made the news for doing that).

Bags delayed on AF JFK-CDG-BUD. Informed them on JFK leg before we took off that the bag did not make it onto the flight based on their app and iTag. They confirmed in the flight rhat bag disnt make it and it would catch up to us on 15 hour layover in CDG. CDG confirmed bags would catch up. Bags were not delivered for a full day later in BUD. Submitted receipts from Paris and Budapest purchases. AF only offering $160. IIRC Montreal Convention requires €1607 they have not responded to my demand for full compensation. Any ideas?

Where do you see that a one day delay entitles you to 1600 euro?

Maybe I'm mistaken. But actual necessary expenses should be covered. Had same with ELAL 3 years ago and received over $3k. $160 is unreasonable. Not knowing when the bag would come, if ever, is the basis for spending. In retrospect 1 day wasnt so bad. But thats not how this works. 5 people had things in that bag. 3 pairs off shoes, a scarf, a belt are not unnecessary items when you dont know when the bag will show up.

My wife just flew UA with a friend from NYC-MIA, each with an infant. They had the isle and window seats with the middle empty. The FA moved my wife out and put her in between 2 males, stating a FAA rule that you can't have 2 infants in a row together. Anyone know of such a thing? Can I get some compensation?

I was once on a flight from Israel with a ton of infants (bein hazmanim), and we were delayed for a while because they were moving families around. I think they said each row of seats has 1 extra oxygen mask, so max 1 infant per row.

However, that should only hold true if the row is fully occupied. In your case the FA may have ben wrong (or their rule might be badly written) because there was an empty seat, so  4 masks should've been fine.
