YYZ-TLV (J) on Air Canada. Baggage was sent to Scotland instead of TLV. Will AC provide anything besides reimbursement for incidentals?

Don't have any cc coverage for delayed baggage on this particular ticket.

Send in a claim on united.com/feedback and ask for compensation.

What was the reason for the DTW-ATL delay? If it was mechanical issues or something that could be the airlines fault, then they will be responsible to give the 3400 NIS according to Israeli law. We just had this with Delta and it took some time until they gave it but we got it eventually.

Israeli compensation requires a delay of 8 hours +.
Very nice they rebooked on LH. Wouldn’t necessarily happen on another airline.

Friend flying YYZ-EWR during the whole United fiasco a few weeks ago. Checked in for flight early in the morning. Flight was for 12 was delayed to 1. Showed up to airport approx 75 min before. Was at gate approx 55 min before. Agent said gave away seats because you have to be by gate 90 min before flight (most likely made up. United site seems like 30 min at gate 90 min to check in). Managed to rebook much later but to LGA. Had to Uber to EWR and got home 6/7 hours later than planned. Complained to UA got $100 voucher per pax.

Is this considered involuntary bump?
DOT complaint?

Seems yes if he was checked in 90 min before and at gate 30 before

If the departure time was showing the new flight (meaning they didn't push it back to the original time) the new times apply as if the old ones didn't exist

Flew to Rome from nyc on Air France with a stop in Cdg..bag got delayed and was left in Cdg and our hotel in Rome was 45 minutes away so had to wait till the next flight came in with the bag which was 2.5+ hrs later …what compensation can I request from the airline ?

Not going to change unless people complain to regulatory bodies with evidence of the lies
1 or 2 good fines together with some media attention about how so and so should not be trusted should take care of the lying part
