I had a vs flight with the first leg elal second vs and my bags did not make it to jfk what am I aloud to buy and how much will they compensate me for

From my experience VS is pretty good about it,
I had 2 bags delayed for 4 days.I spent $650 and got refunded .
I felt like could have gotten more

If you had an overnight or 16 hour+ connection and you didn't confirm they received the bags technically you are at fault however they are usually pretty good

And this is why people can't have night things

Airlines will never tell you in advance how much you can spend or commit to cover your expenses, to prevent guys lie this 

I felt like could have gotten more

However, from my experience, VS paid for everything I needed for a wedding I flew in for (suit, shoes, etc). I can’t promise anything, but if I were you, I wouldn’t spend YK in pajamas. But what you need and hope for the best.

I have an Israir flight from Rome to TLV. It was supposed to be direct, but now they added a stop in Cyprus (either to refuel or change crew). The stop is 30 minutes but the flight is now extended by an 1 hour and 20 minutes (and I wouldn't be surprised if it's longer in actuality). Am I entitled to any comp under European or Israeli law at this point? If not, how long must the delay be for compensation? Or can they all get out of it by claiming war, instablity, etc..?

United downgraded me from paid first to economy on domestic flight. Gate agent promised $500 voucher and full refund. Filled out United form and they say there is no record of compensation being promised and are only offering to compensate fare difference. Any advice?

We purchased 10 tickets for my Sister-in-law's family on frontier at the airport. Tickets were really cheap. $21 per person. Frontier maxes reservations at 9 people. We booked my Brother-in-law on a separate reservation.  We asked if they could link the reservations...no luck.  Tonight they flew from Phl-Mia. He got involuntarily bumped. They didn't care that they sent a mother with 8 kids without her husband because they forced us to split the reservation.  They didn't even offer compensation until he asked. Sounds like they are only going to give him 400% or $84. No flights tonight. No flights tomorrow.  #NoMoreFrontier. They already routinely cancel or change flights. This is just too much.

Every airline maxes out on how many people you can put on a reservation. The only thing I'm not sure about is how other airlines would consider people flying together on 2 separate bookings. I'm not so sure any other airline would have handled this differently.

There is something called a TCP OSI which is how travel agents tell the airline how many people are in a complete party
Would assume that an airline should have some way to do that internally too...
