Others I'm sure know more, but IME their schedule is pretty robust so they can get you there within a day. If not, then they might consider an outside carrier. Status also matters. But here he is already delayed and the JetBlue will be getting in only a few hours earlier. You can always huca but I think odds are very low. They can do it, but usually won't.
Got it- thanks!

Downgrade on AF CDG-JFK from J to PE due to equipment change. Booked with AF points. What am I entitled to?

EU261 clearly states that it applies to flights booked with points. You are therefore entitled to 75% of the amount you paid. I know BA pays this in avios but I have heard of cases where other airlines did it according to the cash price of the flight on the day it was booked.
The compensation amount of 75% excludes any taxes but the difference in taxes between J and PE (if applicable) should be refunded automatically.
Interesingly this article of compensation under EU261 is supposed to happen automatically so you should hear from them within a week, if not file a claim.

I am looking for a recommendation of a company/email to make some claims for a refund / compensation for:

1) A refund for a ELAL flight from 22 March 2020 which was cancelled (due to covid). Paid 1203 Pounds for a Business ticket.

2) 600 Euro Compensation for a Wizz flight 21 October 2024 which was cancelled. (A refund has already been issued.) x2 Passengers.

Please send email address' of anyone who is good and takes a reasonable fee.

Thanks in advance!

1) Why are they not giving a refund? Doesn't sound like something you should need help with.

2) From TLV? Forget it.

Not bad for a MIA-CLE flight in first class that cost 7,500 AS miles.

Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

Was booked on 2 separate bookings. One refund still in process. One booking they gave me $308 voucher and refunded 61.5% of the points to the account that it was booked from. Trying to get answers for where they got to that number and in any event the passenger is entitled to compensation, not the account owner (my daughter) from which it was booked.

So apparently they calculated the value of the CDG--JFK leg out of the entire itinerary and refunded that plus the difference in taxes. So total received was approx 40k FB per ticket. Not the $3k in cash I was hoping for. Oh well.

Is there anyone here who deals with suing airlines for compensation?
Specifically a Flair flight from YYZ to MCO which was delayed 15 hours overnight.

I am on a flight (AA) BGI-MIA-EWR maintenance delayed my first flight to MIA to the point that I was auto rebooked for tomorrow. I assume I will get a hotel/meal voucher. Any way I can use that for kosher? Honestly have no idea how they work

My son was on jetblue flying from JFK to las last night. Flight boarded on time, then they sat on the runway for almost 3 hours before deplaning. Sat in the airport before boarding again at around 2:30. At 3:30 they took everyone off again - then cancelled the flight at about 4:30.
All over JFK flights were taking off, left and right. I know it was bad weather but this is over the top.
Phone agent said, they will refund my ticket (booked with miles) but zero compensation (including not reimbursing for my $80 uber home from the airport) bec cancelled due to weather.

What can I do? (Besides not flying Jetblue ever again)

"What kind of compensation can I request from El Al? On my recent flight, a passenger had a dog sitting next to me the entire time and took it out of its carrier during the flight, violating airline policy. It was uncomfortable and against the rules—does El Al offer compensation for this kind of situation?"

Weather isn't entitled to anything, maybe if he is top tier can get something.
