Bump
With LY, probably nothing... But you could try to write them on via their online form and you might get some goodwill points etc

"What kind of compensation can I request from El Al? On my recent flight, a passenger had a dog sitting next to me the entire time and took it out of its carrier during the flight, violating airline policy. It was uncomfortable and against the rules—does El Al offer compensation for this kind of situation?"
I got 200

Jetblue (Mosaic 1 at time of incident) The front of the plane stunk like a dirty bathroom. They were spraying the whole flight and could not get the smell to go away.  First they offered no compensation, I pushed back and asked for a refund and they gave $50 travel credit, I pushed back again and they said that they stand by their decision. Anything else I can do? Flight was about $250 and unbearable

Flew Lufthansa MIA-MUC-TLV. Crew arrived at the gate 15 minutes before scheduled departure, and boarding was completed an hour late. The crew’s delay was apparent and was announced at the gate and onboard. We arrived in MUC 1.5 hours late, which resulted in a missed connection.
I requested compensation under Israeli aviation law, to which they first responded that I could’ve made the connection. After responding with the arrival and departure times, and mentioning that none of the 17 TLV-bound passengers made their connection, they sent me this:

Thank you for your inquiry dated March 17, 2025.

We understand your wish to receive compensation. Please allow us to clarify why we are unable to fulfill your request.

Our decision has been carefully considered, taking into account, we are unable to provide compensation since at the same time, air traffic control and airport rules and regulations are strictly enforced.

Although Lufthansa has no influence over these processes, we are still obligated to abide by them, which ultimately led to the delay of your flight. As much as we understand your wish to be compensated for this frustrating experience.

Of course, our decision was made after assessing carefully considering the legal liability along with goodwill considerations. Therefore, we kindly request your understanding that we choose to uphold our decision and consider the case closed.

Should you wish to use Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), please be advised that Schlichtungsstelle Reise & Verkehr e.V. is competent to deal with your complaint and Lufthansa is prepared to submit to an ADR procedure operated by this arbitration body.

What do I do now?

For all my EU issues I've used them: https://www.ritardoaereo.com/#flight-issue (no I don't work for them or get anything from this but I have met one of their lawyers so they are legit)
They've helped me with:
Austrian
Turkish
Lot
Lufthansa
Arkia (for my brother)
TUS (for a relative)

It’s definitely more money.
Do any of these not apply to missed connections?

TLV-BCN-PHL

(First leg El Al, second American Airlines)

Barcelona to Philadelphia got very delayed due to crew issues.

My question is- am I entitled to compensation under Israeli law since the itinerary started there even though the actual flight that was effected did not depart from Israel?

Thanks!

Regarding EU compensation, AA said they are not required to pay because the itinerary originated and ended out of Europe (this seems to be accurate, see ruling eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/en/TXT/?uri=CELEX:62020CJ0451 (paragraph 24))

By definition their answer binds them to Israeli law however they will likely tell you to pound sand with the carrier who sold the ticket (and based on the itinerary was probably ticketed on Iberia or BA not on AA)
Take a good look that you fully meet the criteria for Israeli law and are ready to file small claims

Well the question is what does Israeli law say about this scenario?

You have not provided details
Who was it ticketed by
How long the delay was
We're any alternatives offered
Provide details and perhaps some8 can point you to the relevant section of the law

Otherwise feel free to read the full text

My nephew was flying business class on Delta and they gave him a kosher meal that had broken pieces of the ceramic plate in the food. He didn’t notice it when he started eating and chipped his front tooth. Should he file or complaint and proceed from there or go a different route?

PHL to ATH- One way

AA

The flight was cancelled hours before departure, and I was not given a reason. I called AA, and the only other flight option was from PHL on Saturday so I had to make other plans. I booked with AS points and paid with Amex plat Bis. I called Amex, and they said it didn't fall under one of the cancellation options. I submitted a complaint with AA

Can I claim anything with AMEX? Any other options for compensation?

TIA!
