Bummer. None. You voluntarily chose the downgrade.
May not be legally entitled, but I'm pretty darn sure you would be on the phone with them right now if it happened to you

Why was flight cancelled? How about work on getting on a more convenient flight first.

Data Point: Southwest.
Situation:
Five of us flying BOS-CUN (via BWI) and then returning CUN-BOS (also via BWI) next month.
Used points and companion pass for all; reserved back in June.
SW eliminated the CUN-BWI flight and rebooked us on a flight 2.5 hours earlier.
This change not only shortens our last day of vacation in Cancun but also leaves us with an almost 4-hour layover in BWI.
All other flights that day are now sold out.
Resolution:
Southwest customer relations offered, and I accepted, $75 voucher per person (that's $375).
I'm pretty happy with that outcome.

Flew LH F and the internet was not working. I could not even get to the page to buy it. Anything I might get for this inconvenience?

I volunteered to get bumped over the phone. I really don't care for a voucher on an airline I don't usually use; is there any chance that Delta will either upgrade me or give me miles?

Grandmother was seated next to a woman with emotional issues who brought along a companion dog in Delta Y. The dog took half of her seat and the owner was snuggling with the dog the entire flight. Is that worth anything?

I'm not either a fan of asking compensation for non sense but I could understand here that comp is due.

Some people specifically look for flights which have WiFi so they can get work done etc. So if I booked a Lufthansa flight because I wanted WiFi on board and at the end they didn't have WiFi and I was not able to get anything done, I am not entitled for compensation?

You're definitely entitled to ask.

IMO it's similar to an aircraft change, Is it a bummer? yes. But is the airline obligated to provide you with a flight that has reliable wifi? No. If the OP paid for wifi and received an unreliable connection, that's one thing. But there's nothing the OP was entitled to that he didn't receive.

I personally would ask if you feel to have been inconvenienced (which I believe you do), but don't be upset if they don't  give you what you think you are entitled to.

On the note of in flight wifi,  I've been on several flights where the in-flight wifi was worse than the in--flight cellular reception (yes, there was some reception over 10k feet). Now that's embarrassing.

I actually flew LH numerous times where I had to ask the flight attendant about no WIFI connection. because I was an F passenger she made a big deal, and they always managed to get it working. I had once where they radioed in for help about this issue. If you speak up there is better chance. Flynet is pretty good for basic stuff.

I booked TLV-ZRH-EWR in J with TLV-ZRH on LX And ZRH-EWR on UA for 57.5k Singapore miles.
There was a medical emergency on the inbound aircraft so LX swapped the A330 with real biz class for an A320 with no biz. It's a 4 hour flight. Anybody know if I can get compensation for this? TIA
Update: after complaining to swiss they gave me 5k SQ miles back.
Btw I hear that very often swiss swaps planes on the TLV-ZRH route.

I volunteered to get bumped over the phone. I really don't care for a voucher on an airline I don't usually use; is there any chance that Delta will either upgrade me or give me miles?

Update: Delta had the nerve to unconfirm my seat on the new flight, and I was the last to board, and needed to gate check almost everything. They did give me the front exit row, but I didn't care for the legroom, as there's no seat back pocket or storage.

BA advertises their Club World (Business) as lie-flat. Just took the 744 and none of the seats in the Upper Deck were lie-flat. Was actually very surprised. How do i go about getting compensation and what is it worth?

Also, meal was frozen solid. Pointed it out to FA and she said she would mention to her supervisor. What's that worth and to whom do i spea. This was AARP deal, so full revenue ticket as far as they were concerned.

Update: 15k Avios for both me and my wife.

So after much back and forth becuase my wife didnt have a BA account for them to credit the 15k Avios, they offered me a $110 (75 pound) voucher. When i asked them to match the value of the voucher to the 15k Avios that they sell for $438 they initially balked. After some back and forth I got an english speaking UK based rep who went overboard to get me off their backs. They gave me an additional 25k Avios for my account and a $500 voucher for my wife.

So 40k Avios plus $500 for non-lie flat J and bad food...plus the ~64k AA miles earned from the AARP deal...plus free Hotel stay. I'll call London a win!!
Fair warning - Any PMs sent in response to forum posts are fair game for ridicule in public.
