Flying JetBlue out of JFK, had a 3pm flight that is now suddenly at 6. Don't think weather is a factor but can't get an answer from the rep. Any suggestions

Does EU laws hold for a delay of 2.5 hours from a flight from US to Germany?

Was delayed 3 hours on JetBlue JFK-ORD for weather related reasons. Both me and DW received $50 credit. Didn't file any complaint of any sort. +1 JetBlue

Jetblue and SW are both excellent with going above and beyond for weather issues

+1.  They canceled our flight JFK-ORD and we received $200 each without filing anything.

booked the biz sale on expedia.ca (1 res/booking)
yyz-ams-tlv
tlv-ams-yyz
tlv flights were elal and toronto flights were jet airways (all business class)
on the return trip we took off  a little late from tlv (no reason) and missed the jet airways flight. (it hadnt left but they didnt let anyone board bec luggage wouldnt make it or something)
elal rebooked everyone (most ppl thru calgary and then to toronto. all klm) they first put me on that flight (in economy) but i would have missed my delta flight to ny (which wasnt on the same res). instead they put me on a klm flight to jfk also in economy. (only found out when i went to klm counter and all elal employees already left airport)
i called expedia they couldnt care less. called elal and they cant find it on the phone so i need to email. 3 months and 2 emails later elal is offering $200 voucher or 500 points. (still fighting with amex about it).
summary: i paid for business and was put in economy
any suggestions?

Orbitz, priceline, expedia etc. While it may be more convenient to book through them, its just one more person for the airline to toss you to if something goes wrong. Especially when multiple airlines are involved. Last time I booked a flight I found on priceline, I went to each airlines website individually and bought it through them.

If you book individual segments on separate PNRs, you have little protection if you miss a connection.
Who do you think you are fooling? You think you are going to pull a quick one on your Creator? Good luck with that.

Yes under EU law
Flight did not originate in eu and it's not an eu airline
