I emailed them. Got $150 choice award for cancelled flight, need to rebook with a stopover. (This was on top of the $200 they gave many poeple automatically for the cancelled flights back during the tornadoes in Atlanta)
Took them about a month to get back to me, then sent my choice rewards to a different person and he used it (they gave me the email address they sent it to, and the person denied using it). They promised me two $150 choice rewards as compensation, and I only received one. I emailed them and they have yet to answer me. I tried calling twice and both times I get a 3 hour waiting time.
Lol! That's a little crazy. DW, son, and I, were delayed about an hour and a half on our flight last month, due to a mechanical error. This past week, we were delayed from DFW-ATL-MDW, to the point we would miss our connection. I mentioned it to the rep upon baggage drop, and she gave me some options. We ended up being rebooked DFW-DTW-MDW. Not sure what she did, but the baby was not on our ticket, and we were seated on the left side of the plane (only right has infant Oxygen masks) When we got to DTW, we were delayed another 2+ hours, of which we spent close to 45 min trying to "check in" at the gate, as we were told we would be assigned seats there. Apparently the first rep, screwed with out tickets, and made a huge mess. Not sure what to ask for, but I'll make sure to note that my infant was put in potential danger, being seated without an oxygen mask.
Memories last forever, make them while you can.

Is the $500 besides the

Besides the $500 did they refund the mileage difference between couch and business?
Or they kept the all the miles they charged for business and gave you a couch seat?

Lax to EWR ON UNITED booked in J through LH miles.
Incident, DOWNGRADED TO Y DUE TO LAST MINUTE PLANE CHANGE.
COMPENSATION: $500 EVOUCHER PER PERSON.

WHAT ELSE CAN I ASK FOR ?
DON'T THINK THAT IS FAIR!!
Airlines sending me "We're in this together" emails.

Bruh, where were you when my suitcase weighed it 51.50 pounds?

Forgot to mention we were with my 16 month old. Lap infant and they said "no e+ available", meanwhile there were 4 United employees from the earlier flight seated in e+. They should of downgraded them to economy and us to e+
don't mention that

Jfk to LHR on AA - LHR to TLV on BA one ticket in paid J. The first flight got delayed resulting in missing the connection, was rebooked on a flight 9 1/2  hours later. In addition the first flight didn't have the KSML and 1 out of 2 pieces of luggage was lost.

1) which airline should I call?

2) what can I expect for the 3 different issues?

TIA

The following happened to a family member, UNited refused to compensate anything except refund the missed leg (did not even compensate for the paid bus). What should I ask for compensation, and how to go about it?

Flight from phl to Chicago. Fly us around until we needed more gas stop for three hours in Indianapolis miss all our flights finally get to Chicago have to fight to get on the earliest flight arrive in lax 9 hours later than we were supposed to.

Flight from lax to Washington dc land in Washington and get a text that our flight is cancelled when we get off the plane woman named ***** helps us and she tells us tht there are no available flights for us until 10pm tht night but we can take a van to phl which is a two and a half hour drive for $30 when we get to the vans they say it's $45 and we end up finding out tht there had been a flight a half hour later tht could have gotten us to phl

Generally, you contact the airline who issued the ticket.

What was the reason for the delay? If airlines fault you can try for EU compensation.

UPDATE: They found the 1 lost piece of luggage, how in the meantime I had to buy some things. Am I entitled to comp for that?

Emailed Delta about a flight delayed 1.5 hour due to mechanical issues, as well as being seated, with an infant, on the wrong side of the plane with inadequate oxygen masks. I had a few other inquiries as well. The response was only with regards to the oxygen masks, and they are offering 10k Skymiles (x2 of us) Is this adequate compensation? I personally feel not, but would like to hear what others think.

Sounds pretty good to me. Usually it's like 2.5-5k max.

Bose noise cancelling headphones did not work properly, there was no active noise cancellation, both I and my seatmate compared and confirmed.
this hampered my ability to rest and sleep, on a very very long flight.
