We had a flight on Chines Eastern booked through Expedia but now we are told that the flight we were on was cancelled and the flight they would put us on would probably miss the connecting flight, although they offered to put us on flight a day earlier where we'd have to stay in shanghai for a day. Firstly, can I demand anything or receive any compensation from expedia? (I know their customer service is meh) And also can I get compensation from chinese eastern even though I booked through Expedia? All help is welcomed
