Had a United flight last week with a stopover. The incoming flight was delayed for more than 3 hours due to mechanical trouble and my next flight was also delayed for more than 3 hours for other mechanical issues. I filled out the customer service form online and asked for a $100 voucher and I got it. It doesn't hurt to ask.
interesting. If I may ask why did you only ask for $100?

Airline: United
Flight: CVG-SFO
Class: Economy (award ticket)
Incident: Flight delayed 4.5 hours (so far) because of engine trouble, United is sending a new plane. Traveling with 5 little kids.
Compensation: Snacks? 🙄

They are now offering a choice of 2500 miles or a $50 certificate

Airline: Southwest
Flight: DAL-LGA
Class: Economy
Incident: Flight delayed 3 hours (landed 1AM instead of 10pm). Also had lap child and was initially told I could bring carseat on, but then they took it away due thinking they needed the seat, but they had actually miscounted and the seat was empty the whole flight. Slightly damaged bag that couldn't be reporting in person per their policy since the baggage office was closed.

Compensation: $200 for each of the 2 ticketed passengers

in that case from your part I completely understand why you took it.
But in there eyes that shouldn't make a difference you're where sitting in J and that's how you should be treated, if you were to be traveling on a LH F award vs cash should they treat different?? Absolutely not!

Any advise? I had a confirmed kosher meal on alitalia. on the flight I received 1 meal then for the second meal I received it but then it was taken back from me they said that I don't have kosher meals ordered when I showed them the conformation she claimed that there weren't enough kosher meals and that I already received 1 meal.

Thanks

reply from Alitalia
We can certainly understand your disappointment due to the lack of the kosher meal, and we appreciate you taking the time to write to us about your experience. flew EL-AL  premium class  this past january,

passengers  across aisle a couple with an infant and a ......CAT  (yes a cat) the "CAT"  was meowing most of the flight (when the cat stopped his baby infant took over where the cat left off) yes this is true i couldn't make this up if i wanted too. Was really irritating, I  complained to stewardess  but not really much they could do mid flight

after splurging and  pending xtra money to fly more comfortably it was a nightmare of a flight wasnt able to sleep the whole flight

A)is this a legit complaint?
B)any way i can complain what can i ask or expect from elal if anything and where should i direct my complaint

I just flew LH F and there was a baby yelling on and off during the flight. We tried to shut her up but it wouldnt work. She also would walk up and down the aisles, not disturbing anyone directly, but it was just annoying.
What compensation can we expect?
