Asked for Polaris bedding and PJs on UA 90 three times. Never received it. Should I even bother?
did they say they don't have? Or just ignored your request?

I would definitely ask for comp.
Don't accept anything less than $200 imo

I always call, but recently I heard from a few friends that they did very well by emailing. Haven't tried it yet

I don't fly a lot (yet), so I don't contact them often, but last time I emailed them, and was surprised to receive a phone call a few weeks later from a nice rep who explained what happened and took care of it.

Airline Compensation Master Thread
« Reply #3707 on: April 27, 2018, 08:46:28 AM »
I was booked on Air France for the past Monday 4/23/18 Jfk -cdg-kbp. I got a email on Sunday saying “
Further to the call for a strike issued by several Air France staff unions for April 23 and 24, 2018, our flight schedule operated by Air France, or Joon will be disrupted.”

So I called and they could not accommodate me on another airline for the dates I wanted. They would only book me if it was available for saver award since it was a award ticket. So they allowed me to cancel and redeposited the points. Can I get something out of this ?

4/26/18
Returned VIE - LHR-Jfk. We were 4 pax. Booked with AA points , VIE-LHR was operated by BA. Although we all ordered ksml only 1 made it onto the flight.

LHR-JFK lag operated by AA. 1 of the 4 of us received economy class meals. When he asked about it, they said that there are 5 people asking for kosher and they had only 4 on board and they were very unfriendly crew.

Anything we can get out of these ordeals ?

Nice.

Why would they need to pay for second flight though? Wasn't it one itinerary?

IIRC compensation is per segment. Otherwise im entitled to Israeli Comp not EU. Which is more than what they're offering now.
