What can I expect for a Business class ticket not properly booked by quantas agent, which led to missing a flight ? I changed flights via agent and it wasn’t issued correctly. When I came to airport they told me it’s not ticketed. By the time quantas was able to ticket it (about 40 min phone call) I wasn’t able to take that flight. Elal put me on the next flight which is at 3:30, and also to Newark instead of Jfk which I need. What can I expect for compensation ?

Sent my brother yesterday on LH J flight 403. The Flight was delayed almost 4 Hours (3:47). The reason for the delay was due to the plane arriving late from FRA (LH 401), Since the airport was on lock down for a couple of hours due to a security threat.

Question: Will LH still compensate me or will they claim this (copied from europa.eu)?

If you arrived at your final destination with a delay of more than 3 hours, you are entitled to compensation, unless the delay was due to extraordinary circumstances.


Extraordinary circumstances - Delay
Extraordinary circumstances can lead to more than one cancellation or delay at the final destination. Examples of events defined as extraordinary circumstances are air traffic management decisions, political instability, adverse weather conditions and security risks.

Took a flight on LH 2 weeks ago and filed a complaint a week after the flight whiten 7 days but now 7 days after the complaint haven't heard back from them should i sent an email vs a form which i submitted through their website?

My question isn't if it's their fault or not. I actually know it's not (as I mentioned in the post the reason for the delay ). Rather what are ppl's experiences in such a case? Will they compensate or not? (I have received compensations even in cases where the company wasn't at fault )

they dont have to give compensation for weather. plus elal who doesnt give compensation when its deserved

They use weather sometimes when it is not, check if there was really any weather issues to cause the delay.

 United from EWR to JAX was delayed 2.5 hours due to their radio not working. They took us back to the gate after taxiing, and made us switch planes. Anything we can get?
