DL J SFO-JFK.
They forgot my Kosher option (can one call those things meals?), FA apologized and processed complaint in her little tablet and said I'd get 5k SkyPesos. I said that didn't sound like a lot, so she processed a different type of complaint and got me an additional 15k :)
So far only the 15k posted :)

AA MIA - LGA 1:50PM. checked in, checked bag. passed security was notified that flight delayed to 2:30, went to centurion, got a beer, came back. Now, the gate was open, gate agents were there, it was then that I found out that the flight was full. They had put people on standby on, myself and 3 others who were ticketed, were left out.

I also at this time around 2:21 got a notification that the flight was delayed till 3:30. Frankly, i'm not sure if I am in the wrong for going to the lounge, I can tell you the Gate was E11 and I had arrived to airport at D-20'sh.. Sure, I could have first gone to the gate and seen the situation..

Anyways, they said tough luck, they put me on 6:45 flight standby and ticketed 7:50. I got on 6:45 flight which was delayed, got to NY at 10:30

Should they compensate me?

Were you by the gate in advance of the requirement ? (10 or 15m before original such departure time)?

Not of the original 1:50pm departure. I got a notice about 1pm that it was delayed till 2:30. I got to the gate before 2:20. Flight had already been bearded, gate was open ...

The time I posted, no (ua didn’t even notify me). But it’s far enough in advance that I could have.

Just rebooked on ua 77w instead

If anyone could help this would be greatly appreciated.
We were on a flight on 8/18 out of EWR to TLV. Flight delayed 3 hours, then boarded, after 3 hours deplaned due to flight crew issue (have letter from united rep that was there as proof) then flight delayed another 5 hours. total delay time 13 hours.
united only wanted to give me $1000 or 30k miles, and will not give me the 3060 shekel as per israeli law due to delay.
Any advice?
Thanks

$1000 is worth more then 3060 shekel ($843 current market value).

They are probably giving that as a voucher. This was discussed on a different thread, too.

Guys if I can get some advice it would be great.
I flew from PHX to PHL on AA and my brand new double stroller got ripped on the way. Not a huge rip but right in the center. I filed a claim but they came out that it’s not such a bad rip. I tried fighting it but they aren’t budging. Is there any other method? I booked the flight with AA points and the taxes and fees using my CSR (booked it within 48 hours of flying).
Thanks

Sure, Call the card services benefits from chase. This is covered under Damaged Baggage.
I've gotten them to cover my stroller.
You might need written proof from the airline that they will not be covering it.

Does anyone have experience with BA claim for EU delay. How long does it take to get the money back?
