Even more than that - one of the people in our party decided to stay in Europe and didn't even show up for the flight. But he's getting 600 EUR anyways. EU261 is clear about all this, it's a shame that the USA doesn't care about the paying passenger.

But then again, this is the land of private medical insurance :-[
It goes both ways. Many would say if you over regulate an industry, it clauses higher prices and its worse for the consumer overall.

No. Ukraine is not in EU. They will deliver the bags and game over.

What CC was used to book? That's your hope now.

Would you mind sharing? Google makes it sound that the airline is at will to provide basics. That's like $50 a day tops (at least with US airliners).

What more can they get?

I believe Israel mandatory comp is only after 8 hours.

Airline: Delta
Flight: JFK-ATL
Class: J
Incident: IFE issues.
Compensation: 9,000 miles.

Considering that I only paid 14,500 miles for the trip, I consider that to be pretty decent.

Should I ask for more?

I would say it’s fair. 2,500 for comfort is good deal.

Delta F for only 10k?

Sure. It’s only a 45 minute flight, no service.

Air Canada from EWR to Calgary, stopover in Toronto. 15 minute delay, they bumped my wife from the flight, and made her fly the next day, said it was customs fault, didn't offer any compensation. What can I do? Can I prove they really did it because the flight was overbooked? Is it their fault there was only a 1 and a half hour stopover? She made it to the gate 20 minutes before takeoff, but they cancelled her flight in advance, saying there was no way her luggage could make it.

This happened to me on Turkish from jfl to tlv, stop in IST. Arrived 15 minutes before and didn't let us on because suitcases wouldn't make it (my brother was flying first on same flight, and they said his suitcases can make it but he doesn't need to board if he doesn't want to). Six hour later we walked out 600 euro wealthier each. But this is with EU comp.
I'm not who you think I am.
