Email them and depending on status you'll get some Voucher. You can request full comp for costs but YMMV.

Thanks.  I have no status with United, but I sent them a DM via twitter and they said to fill out a refund request as I may be eligible for a partial refund due to the circumstances and not flying the last leg.  Will see what happens.

I was booked on an AA flight that was supposed to land at PHL at 5:30PM this afternoon. Once we boarded we sat on the plane for 1 hour, deplaned, after which the flight was cancelled. They rebooked me tomorrow morning on a flight leaving at 5:00AM landing at 7:00 AM. What can I expect considering they didn’t pay for a hotel since they said it was because of ATC?

I sent an email to AA and received 10k miles. Is that too little for a 12hr+ delay?

Recently had a poor experience on both legs of a round trip. Should I file separate complaints, or keep them together?

If its pretty much the same complaint or very similar I would do it as one

We had the privilege to be July 4 on the Virgin Atlantic flight that had an emergency landing in Boston
https://www.theverge.com/2019/7/5/20682879/virgin-atlantic-flight-battery-pack-charger-fire-boston-new-york-london

As I was there with little kids we choose to stay there over Shabbos (instead of flying back to NY Friday) and got a flight Sunday morning BOS-LHR (Missing part of a Simcha in LON), besides for the Hotel/Food/Transportation costs, can I hope for any additional Compensation?

I flew UA EWR-TLV. 2 adults and 7 kids. I booked my tickets months in advance, and with premier had my economy plus and bulkhead booked. At checkin the agent said she has some issue with printing my infant ticket, and she needs to fix it. it took her 2 hours and calls and supervisors to finally get me my boarding passes, but by that time it was already within 60 min of flight so our seats were given away already. Due to whatever she was trying to do, she canceled our reservation and rebooked it, so it didn't have mileage number, so we didn't get tsa pre or premier printed on the boarding pass. Security line was terrible, and we begged them to walk us thru the line but they wouldn't. They did hold the flight since our luggage was onboard, but when we got to boarding they told us they have individual seats all over the plane, which means my 3 and 5 year old sitting alone between strangers. And since we werent in our original seats, they gave away our meals to others, so we didnt even get food.

Whats the best way to request compensation and what can I expect?

They never offered that option and it was not weather related at that point. They did me a favor and refunded my ticket. I wish there was something that I could say to get some comp. They were not honest from the first 20 minute delay. They will say it was weather related.
$150 UA Voucher...Basically paid for the first leg of the trip.

I got a refund to my cc in the amount of $159.01. No explanation on how that was calculated, but I'm happy :). I was hoping they wouldn't give a voucher that I'd be pressured to use within a year.

Go to united.com > contact > refund policy > request a refund and tell it like it was. Not sure what you can expect but they should definitely compensate you because what they did was unacceptable.

Tonight’s United flight got canceled and Earliest time they were able to rebook me was tomorrow afternoon so I have to stay overnight and book a hotel- what should I expect as reimbursement/compensation?

Out of pocket expense reimbursement. I'm guessing it was for weather so maybe theyll give you a hotel and food Voucher.

I thought for weather related they don't give hotel almost ever. At least that has been my experience with them and any other airline because they say they can't control weather.

Airline: CX
Flight: JFK - YVR
Class: J (award ticket)
Incident: Delayed Baggage  -48HR
Compensation: Verifiable incurred expenses
Notes: Tool some back and forth but eventually CX agreed.

By phone if you want a faster response.  Online is easier but can take about a week for them to give you their response/decision.
