I recently had a wire from Cathay and raised no alarms at chase and it was the maximum.

I got like 120k and $200 for similar issues 3 years ago on that flight.
Do you recall where you reached out?

EY has AA level CS FWIW. Soooooo many empty promises, even the guys who swore they'd get back to me after I said I don't believe them didn't get back to me.

Not when the wire they sent me from Abu Dhabi prob raised alarms at chase

Incident: Bags lost for 3 days and no KSML
Compensation: A sincere apology inflight, and an apology letter.

Airline: Etihad
Flight: AUH-CMN
Class: Business
Incident: Flight delayed 6+ hours, 4 of which we were kept on the plane without A/C. Staff admitted they knew of the software issue before boarding, but thought they'd be able to repair it eventually.
Compensation: Apology letter.

Is this the norm for EY with regard to the delays and lack of service?  Thinking of flying with them next year but will reconsider if this is a usual occurrence.

If you get a report from AA you should get $100 per person per 24hr. from CSR for expenses.

I'm not sure if its considered delayed baggage in terms of them reimbursement as per DOT rules but I would by items that you can ultimately return which are "verifiable incidental expenses".

They aren't known for their customer service.
Did you have incidental expenses?
(Kept it to the minimal, because) they told me before it wouldn't be covered, and even if they wouldn't have said it was covered I couldn't trust them.

From the start I said I didn't trust them, but it was out of my control.
I mentioned the Montreal convention and they didn't seem to care, probably because it doesn't come back to bite the front line rep.
I filed with the DOT, but was very vague because I wasn't sure if the UAE signed on it.
