Am almost positive that AA DTW-LGA service is one-class on an Embraer jet.  How'd you manage first class?

Seems this was a 2 cabin plane on this flight.

I was booked on AA 3530 today DTW-LGA in First. The flight was cancelled due to weather and they've rebooked me on Delta 180 in Economy (which is also delayed). They say they can't put me in First even though there're open seats.

Any idea what, if anything, I can do?

So... Is there anything I can do? They have me booked in a middle Economy seat. Delta says AA only bought Economy. I don't care all that much (especially considering that "First" is not really "First"), but I'm annoyed at the combination of multiple delays and problems after a long day.

Just that everything is full for tonight and that I can request a refund at aa.com/refunds. I rebooked at the desk in the airport. By now there's definitely no space left.

UPDATE: AA phone rep says I bought an instant-upgrade fare, not a first-class fare. I think I fell for the AA have-to-look-at-the-detailed-fare trick. In any event, I'm on the Delta flight, and they just announced that we're going to be delayed on the tarmac for 1.5 hours. Yay.

I just got back and I noticed one of my luggage has the TSA paper that they went thru my bag. They took out a co2 (soda stream) canister. Is it not allowed in checked baggage? Am I allowed to file with amex?

Not trying to be greedy but incant fond anywhere a canniater here in israel. :(

I just got an email from United that they will deposit 2,000 miles in my account in compensation for not having kosher meals in Business class from ZRH to EWR. That really sucks is there anything I can do to get something of greater value?

Was a huge pain. Not to many places sell 60L co2 canisters. On the website it was 80+ return and old one. I bought an empty one for 50₪ from one store and exchanged it in another store for another 50₪

On a different note and here its deserved

Air Berlin cancelled a flight I was on with my 3 kids from ZRH to DUS. EU261 makes them pay 250 Euro per person. I send them a email, 5 days later I had 1000 Euro in my account.

Anyone here know who I can contact at United about a claim regarding the Israeli Air Services Law? I made a claim for it but was declined even though I should be entitled. Had a 8+ hr delay because the incoming flight was delayed for maintenance.

Or anyone here with a person I can reach out to.

I was asking can i make a claim? meaning, did they have the right. not looking to make money.
I dont care that they didn thave the correct meal. or the stewardess gave me a funny look. I am missing something from my luggage... simple.

I believe the airline reserves the right to switch to any plane they want up until departure. BTW what airline?
