I'm wondering if there is any upside for Kamala in Biden stepping down. If they switch her in and she loses, which I think she probably will, she has no hope of being the nominee in 2028.

If however things stay as they are, then she is better positioned to argue that she is next in line, and in the (unlikely) event Biden wins she becomes president at some point in the next term.

If she steps down it's because she admits her likelihood to be elected is slim, given how unpopular she is, so what business does she have running again in the future?

I am not suggesting she step down. I am saying that for her the best thing might be leaving things the way they are, with Biden being the nominee and her as VP.

I honestly don't know what to call this. While I'm not too fond of Fetterman's dress code, he probably conducted himself better and more respectfully than most politicians would have in such circumstances.

As for Fetterman's cognitive abilities, regardless of his moral clarity on Israel v. Hamas, I think he displays cognitive abilities that are leaps and bounds better than the unhinged (though she calls herself unleashed) idiot who is "questioning" him. While I disagree with "Biden is my man", I can see how that would be said in the political context, and I wouldn't hold it against Fetterman at this point.
