route planner

iam looking to plan a one time  delvrey route with about 100 places in lkwd iam looking for a good way to make up the list of where to go 1st,2nd,3rd etc.

I think people usually find it fascinating that this is one of the great unsolved problems (and likely unsolvable) in problem solving. See below

I don't get it. Why do you say unsolved? The wiki link certainly doesn't imply that at all.

I don't get it. Why do you say unsolved? The wiki link certainly doesn't imply that at all.

It is only solvable through an algorithm which searches through brute force (meaning trying every possible combination), which takes 2 to the power n time (n being the number of places to travel to). Even for a very small problem like Twin's that would be 2 the 100. how big a number is that? See the link below

I'm the guy who made OptiMap (gebweb.net/optimap), the route planner mentioned in the second post. Just wanted to know if you had any luck with the 100 destinations case. If not, I'd certainly be interested to debug it with you, or you could send me a list of destinations.

We used the full version, but supposedly this free trial gives you all the same features.
