Access to thousands of Gyms for $28 a month

I was made aware of a program which will charge $28 monthly and give you access to 1,000s of gyms including L.A. Fitness and The Gym in Lakewood (currently priced at over $75 a month)!

I've had this for sometime now. It is a regular membership. You just give the gym your active and fit membership number and they put it into the system and stop charging you. Everything else stays the same

See below. You get one membership number which works at all gyms. You pick a gym in the beginning, and it is not necessary to change in-order to access other gyms. Would love first hand experience though.

Just log in, select your new Active&Fit Direct gym or studio, and reprint your fitness card if needed or save it again to your phone. Go to your new fitness center and present your Active&Fit fitness card. They will use your fitness card to verify your enrollment and then have you complete their membership agreement. This will not work anymore after July 1. Per their new policy you will only be allowed to go to 1 gym for $28 a month. If you add another gym you will only get a $5 discount. For example if the monthly for the second gym is $30, you will have to pay an extra $25 a month on top of the $28. A lot of people are pissed about this but the policy doesn't seem to be changing. I canceled mine since the gym I go the most is $20 monthly.

I researched how it works, basically they pay the gym you visit based on the day. For example today you visit gym 1, tomorrow gym 2, they each get a dollar per day I think, something in those terms.
