dont know if qualifies as deal. but u.s mobile have a "kosher plan"  [thats how they advertise it] $7.50 a month unlimited talk and text no data [good for kids]

Kosher Plan  $7.50  incl. all taxes & fees*

I never saw that before. It's a bit buried on their website.

I have a basic talk only plan with them which is $12 something after taxes and fees, I wish they'd offer a kosher talk only plan at that rate (or cheaper)
P.s. I no longer see the option to build your own plan on their website

From their chat rep: "Disabling texts is possible. However, you would need to connect to us every 30 days to get it done."

They aren't (at all) clear about it, but its actually limited to the first 10 number you call (unlimited) After that you need to purchase an international add-on, US Mobile GSM is a better choice if you really need it.

Best is to filter your phone to talk-only and get the kosher plan.
They are working on adding parental controls soon, so you might be able to do that once it gets implemented.
You can still build your own plan; you just have to find it.
