Some food comments:
Russian (CY?) milk is definitely an acquired taste. I haven't acquired it yet. Milk in Moscow and in Lubavitch was different. Neither (in coffee) was appealing to my NY taste buds.
1st floor of Marina Roshcha Jewish Center houses the Eden dairy restaurant. If I needed to sum up my review in one word, it would be the now popular word DON'T!
I arrived there after everyone else. I saw some items on their plates and asked how they were. The response was "edible". After trying them I commented that a more accurate description would be "barely edible". Looking at the menu (Russian only, Google translate to the rescue where it was a little more descriptive) the only thing that I thought I might like was a Caprese salad. I would call it "decent". A better fresh mozzarella would have made it "good".
All kosher meat in Russia is Lubavitcher Shechita, and is relatively inexpensive. I probably ate more meat in the less than a week that I am here than I do in an entire year in NY.
