I know a certain frum litvish neighborhood in the US where if you tell me where you daven, I can tell you how hold you are (+/-2 years).

his english is fine, as is most of his spoken hebrew.
Its the reading where א,ה,ע are the exact same thing.
(and I can't seem to teach him differently - "this is the way the rebbe says it")

My sons Kittah Alef Rabbi is an Israeli (he moved here [NY] couple of years ago) and my son has the same problem when reading, but I stopped caring about it & it seems to be just fine.
