Um... no?
It is a truism that in order to know something, you need to first be told or see that information. Where, exactly, is it posted all over? Would I read a deep-dive into IBM's history? No. I focus on information that I will find practical. I fail to understand your surprise at all.

It is pretty surprising that you never came across it, even by accident. I must’ve seen it hundreds of times. Speaking of history, IBM isn’t worth ignoring - they happily assisted the Nazis with the mass killing of Jews during the Holocaust.

I am aware that they assisted the Nazis during the holocaust. It comes up in Holocaust stories, which I do find worthwhile reading. But I have nothing to do with IBM as a company being that they haven't manufactured computers in some time.

Rabbi Berkovits was talking about the tokef of minhagim. He said the minhag is to make shehakol on chocolate even though it really should be haetz. However, he added that this is only because shehakol works on chocolate like it works bedieved on all food. In a situation where you are making a haetz on something that would cover the chocolate, you can't also make shehakol on the chocolate...

Why would you make ha-etz if it doesn’t look anything like the original fruit? Especially when you consider the fillers in mass-produced chocolate.

ETA: Apparently the shape is less relevent if the regular consumption is in a way that loses its shape. The fillers are still a question.

Found a nice PDF on the topic: https://rabbimanning.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/Chocolate-Raisins-and-Berachot.pdf

Rav Moshe disagrees.

That if you would eat it with a vadai hoaitz, you wouldn't make a shehakol.

BIG PEOPLE TALK ABOUT IDEAS.

I concede that this was what I wrote that RYB said, but what he really said was that a baal nefesh would not eat the chocolate having made a vadai haeitz, or would eat a vadai shehakol to cover it, rather than making shehakol on the chocolate outright having made a haeitz. I think.

A bit more on this.
I have a personal tendency - a bad one, when it comes to halacha - to come to a lemaase on something and state it bluntly, often out of context and therefore inaccurately. The above was one of those, and I apologize for the possible pegia in Rabbi Berkovits's reputation. (Fwiw, I used his wording - can't make a shehakol - but didn't explain the context, which is that a baal nefesh really shouldn't due to the possibility that the haetz really covered the chocolate according to some.)

In my limited online experience I find that the people that bring these quotes always end up going to how Jewish people own banks, governments, and media. Illuminati stuff.
Then depending on their religious beliefs it can get a bit more retarded.

The first thing that I always want to ask is why do some Jews look and act like so and others don't?

Then we can discuss each groups beliefs or non beliefs. And the people you don't like where do they fall on that spectrum?
