Saratoga springs

I am thinking of going away for a weekend. I want it to be withing driving distance of NYC. I am looking for ideas. I prefer a location that has walking distance to a minyan. Does anyone have good ideas for me? I thinking about Saratoga springs.  Does anyone know if there is a minyan within walking distance to a hotel?

I looked into it a few weeks back. There is a Chabad and there are hotels within walking distance. There is no Eruv.

Thank you.  Has anyone been this year in Saratoga Springs for shabbos and could give me information how it was? Did you have to register for a minyan? Was the area nice for a weekend vacation? Is there food available there?

Don't know much, but I know that Belz has a Yeshiva there.

Was there memorial day weekend. Chabad was not open at that time. They're within walking distance of a few chain hotels.
Nice town to walk around on Shabbos with a beautiful park with natural spring water fountains to drink from.
We really enjoyed kayaking and paddleboarding on a narrow scenic river that connects Lake Lonely and Saratoga Lake.

I looked into it for last Shabbos. Spoke to the Rabbi, they're davening in a tent outside the Chabad house, masks required. We didn't go because of the projected heat wave, but found several nearby chain hotels available for points - Embassy Suites, Holiday Inn, and others.

Thank you so much for the information.  Is there kosher places to eat in that area? Is cartyard by marriott walkable to the chabad house? I saw that Google shows 15 minute walk.  I am wondering if its walkable.

No kosher restaurants in the area. If you're able to walk 15 minutes, you should be fine getting to Chabad. But no eiruv if you have little ones.

was a great choice for the area! Very accommodating and works great for shabbos meals. They have a nice public balcony with tables.

Looking to rent a house there for a few days in summer (min 4 bedrooms) decent houses on Air BNB are all very pricey... any other leads?
