I am so sorry if this has been asked and answered, but I am at a loss.  We are desperately trying to get to the NY/NJ/PA area from Israel to see my mother who is undergoing Chemo and radiation.  I literally have no updated info on who is flying from here and who is not.  I just spoke with a United rep here who tells me that they will probably be canceling all flights for the rest of the year!  As my entire family needs to go out, El Al, at 1600 US is out of our price range right now.  When I search Google Flights or Momondo, they still show United and other airlines that are currently not flying to or from here.  Any advice?

There has recently been surprisingly good availability on ElAl using Qantas or Alaska miles.
Also, you can get to Athens for cheap and continue from there on all major US airlines, and now on Norse Atlantic: https://forums.dansdeals.com/index.php?topic=133435.0

Hey, all.  Update.  I was able to find tickets on BA with a 17-hour layover in London.  Still expensive but manageable.  I appreciate the help!
