What do you know now that you didn't before
change sets. Don’t use it but needed to know it for the test. Bunch of other things I don’t bump into on a daily basis.

yep best way to study, although I will say, while they nail the style of question for the test, they miss a bit on the intensity of them; I found the test more challenging than the practice (didn’t expect an exact copy, just was more difficult than I expected)
Knowing much of the automation and business logic from work it was easier to ramp up for the exam. The cert is worth something on a resume as you don’t need to prove your worth within your company as they see it daily.
Certified ≠ trained
can’t agree with this more. Some ppl are good at test taking. I just was given a request to figure out why a certain report wasn’t accessible to a user and someone with 7 (count em!) certs didn’t know the issue.
BTW - if you haven't yet taken Admin, you may want to jump on it, as it has a lot of overlap with Platform App Builder
not sure if you’re addressing this to me? Yes I’ve taken that one a couple yrs ago and decided last month I may know enough to sit for the next one BH
Ironically I’m not nearly doing as much admin work as I am automation so studying for the admin cert was more brutal learning all this stuff id never implement
