Bradshaw, wasn't planning on going in, he anticipated being hit at the line and his forward momentum (due to not being hit) pushed him in. Mistake on the Giants part to not simply take a knee at that point. Bigger mistake on the Pats for not allowing them to score right after they got into chip-in range with about 2 min left. Would have given Brady enough time to attempt a successful drive. I could not believe Belicheck wasted a TO on that challenge (that happened literally in front of his face.) Terrible game, worst SB I've watched in years. Dropped (uncontested) passes, poor time management/TO usage. Few successful drives, too many sloppy plays all-around.
On the food note: My BIL had sweet chicken wings, spicy poppers, real southern chili (all home-made) with fresh bread and the usual mix of chips dips and drinks.
On the "rivalry" note: My BIL is a native NY/NJ and huge Jets fan, he lol'ed when I mentioned the idea floating around here of a Jets-Giants rivalry.
hmmm....
I have a Friend who is "a native NY/NJ and huge Jets fan" and I know:
A. he had "sweet chicken wings, spicy poppers, real southern chili (all home-made) with fresh bread and the usual mix of chips dips and drinks. " at his superbowl party.
B. He has a BIL from CLE
So basically I never would've guessed it but I think I just realized who you are
EDIT: I just remembered that said BIL
spent some time in Berkeley, CA some time ago... (in case I had any doubts)
