Uber
« on: June 29, 2024, 11:34:16 PM »
I flew from LA to O’Hare Monday and ordered an Uber that took 10 minutes to arrive. I put my bags in the trunk and the driver came out, saw I was wearing a black hat and Yitzi’s out and threw my bags out and said cancel the ride. It was clearly anti-Semitic/anti - Israel bias. I wrote to Uber. Abdul, from customer support gave me $5.00 and said their policy is not to reveal what they do to their drivers. Any ideas as to how I should follow up. I’ve heard similar stories from others

I don't have an answer on how you should follow up, but I will tell you that you should never cancel when a driver asks you to. If you do, the driver can point a finger at that and say that the passenger cancelled, not him/her.
