There might be a thread for this, but if not, many will benefit.

Please contribute locations that you are aware of, and please try to keep the same format, so we can then add it all to a wiki.

Reson for thread: I found some of these "hotspots" by chance, seems everyone in certain circles knew about them, but not so famous.. So I think a master thread is in order

Requirements: drivable from tristate area, decently priced hotels, minyanim, kid-friendly, at least some attractions in the area, kosher food etc.

Berkshires, MA
Minyanim and Kosher pizza stand managed by Chabad
Activities - Jimney peak mountain, farms,
Price range - many suites in the area (need to book early) 200-300 a night
(Wyndahm bently brook rooms are VERY spacious)

Lancaster, PA
Minyanim (multiple) and Kosher food (Milchig and Fleishig) ran by local Kehilla (+mens mikva) (+small kosher shop)
Activities - farms, amish town, amusement parks
Price range - many hotel options in the area, 200-300 a night

Lincoln, NH
Minyanim - ran by local Chabad, in days inn hotel
activities - hikes and trails, beautiful scenery, mountain activities
Accommodations - 250+ a night, most cheaper hotels are outdated... try airbnb better
Kosher food - bring your own

Poconos, PA
Minyanim - ran by Chabad, many hotspots have more, PLEASE ADD MORE LOCATIONS
Activities - many
Accommodations - mostly outdated. Strasburg, PA has some newer ones. a bit pricy for comfortable ones. stay away from very cheap ones - unless you love sleeping in grandmas house

Title should specify that this is only hotspots in NE region, or broaden the list to include hotspots worldwide.

hunter/tannersville. mikva , minyan, food, not much as far as points accomodation but there are some decent airbnb's lots of stuff to do nearby

long branch /deal nj. main attraction is beach but some things to do in vicinity. rentals are pricey but upscale

What would be useful is hotel/minyan & food (restaurants or stores with kosher food).

I would say Scranton is a great place to base yourself. Tons to do around there
Rochester too.
