This is a little OT but ...

I wanna know if anybody has seen that in UR mall they were getting a different amount thru the INK UR mall and thru the Sapphire UR mall.

I have just noticed that for Dell.com if I go to my Sapphire UR mall and in the search-box I enter dell, I comes up as 3 pp$, If I go to the list of merchants it lists dell as 3pp$

But if I go to my INK UR mall and in the search-box I enter dell, I comes up as 3 pp$, If I go to the list of merchants it lists dell as 5pp$

I guess people probably knew this already but I'll post my experience. had a large purchase at Barnes and noble. Bought a gc at pj for 11% discount. Was hoping I would get that and 10/ppd from ur mall. I was wrong. Not only did I only get points on difference above the gc, I only got points up to the price for the item, minus tax and shipping. Bummer

Don’t get discouraged. You will find some pay on GC purchases but not on purchases made with a GC. Some will be the other way around. Others will pay on both and some on neither. It is all trial and error with each individual shopping portal. What works at UR might not work at another site. Other members are doing to same thing and I strongly suggest you all hook up.

Well said. Do you have experience with any specific merchants?

I used a gc at bb awhile ago, I don't think I got any points for it bec after I entered the gc number, it brought the "total sale" amount to $0.

I'm specifically looking for someone with experience at staples. If anybody could chime in. . . .

I got points for a Bestbuy purchase I made with a GC

Also at Dell I used a GC and got the full points.

In the Dell terms this is what it says -
"Eligible on the redemption, not purchase, of gift cards."

Add 1800-flowers (pre-tax and the exorbitant delivery fee they charge. However, I did get 17% off, $10 back from amex, plus 15 points per dollar from UR mall)
Lowes as well and they calculate it based on before you take the 10% off for the coupon, but pre-tax.
Dell also.

The only order missing is a homedepot order which I actually used the freedom card for. Strange.

That's why I typically try to use the SP URM although considering that my target orders aren't getting rewarded and yours are I'm thinking of switching too.

go intstore and return 4 cash

Not necessarily will it work. If Nordstom reports back that it was returned UR will take back the point, no matter what CC was used

And FYI, someone did something very similar to this and got the FBI on his case and is being charged in Federal court:

These guys were just charged a few weeks ago. And I don't have a link handy, but there was also mention of this in the technical press - making it sound as if their IT department is working hard to close the loopholes.
