so i guess its not worth letting the insurance do direct bill with enterprise as you dont get rental credits and lose out on the spend
next time gonna make my own reservation and have the insurance send me a check for reimbursement
besides the point they are stingy on upgrades i much rather hertz or avis

less of a hassle this way, especially since the auto body shop can pick up and return rental for you if it's through insurance

Yes. Just had this yesterday. True with minivan and full sized sedan too. Under 25 can only rent midsize and below. There was a placard on the counter in the office that explained this policy.

Hi, can someone please advise me? (I haven't rented in a while, but I did it through Hertz when I used to rent.) I'm planning on renting a car that will be by an airport location, and I am considering Enterprise. I have a National Executive status and want to know how upgrading works. I want to get a Suburban and a luxury sedan how does it work in regard t the upgrading schtik? If I recall correctly, by Hertz, you can book a specific tier car and upgrade if they have it available in the lot. Does that work the same way by Enterprise, and if it does, does it work with National status?
TIA!
