a friend of mine who just rented from Hertz last week was told by the agent working there that they now honor status and next time she comes she should make sure to attach her PC number so she can get a 2class upgrade and have the car waiting for her.

You should all be aware that I just had a bad situation at Hertz return, where they refused to allow me to change my cc.

If you would have booked with the right agent, they would have let you  . There is certain  agent that pretty much works in Avis and if anything happens he can help you out right away.

I've been offered to change CC with Avis, Thrifty, and Sixt. (Never actually did, though.)

Been changing my cc for years, no problem.
This happpened to me a few weeks ago at Hertz.
Now we have a new issue to worry about, the Isralis managed to make up a new problem.. with new excuses...

A car can get for $25 a day and van not under $60 minimum
