This is classic "casual" antisemitism of his generation/class. People will say "it can't be antisemitism, look what he did for Israel! Look how many Jews he surrounds himself with!" etc etc. People like him will play golf at country clubs that until remarkably recently had "No Jews, No Blacks, No Dogs" signs, and talk about their Jewish lawyers, Jewish CPAs, Jewish doctors, how they are the best, smartest etc. They're *pro* semitic, right? But they're being prejudiced in judging people based on race/ethnicity/religion, kind of how a racist person might say "but those blacks sure are good at basketball." And then when their Jewish lawyer, doctor, CPA, or whatever does or says something they don't like, they'll turn around and say, "How can he do that, doesn't he realize how many Jews I hire? Can't he see how good I am to the Jews?" And then blame his problems on Jews just like the classic antisemite does.

Trump says this kind of thing all the time. The Jews *owe* it to him to vote for him. If a Jew doesn't support him there is something wrong with him. And the Jews in the Democratic party who should be supporting him because he is the best Jew candidate are the ones that will make him lose! For shame!
