Mint.com closing - alternatives
« on: December 09, 2023, 10:15:07 PM »
I know there's a Mint.com thread, this is specially about alternatives.

They are moving to credit karma. One reason it doesn't work for me is that only 3 years of transactions are moving. I use mint rarely, but it's to search how much I paid for something years ago, or where I bought it.

I see there's a frum finance being put together, what's that about?

I read a little about simlifi quicken, might be good but has a cost.

Any ideas?

For some reason Mint hasn't been working for me for the last month or so, some cards just don't sync anymore.

I started using credit karma and while not as good as Mint, it does the job for me for basic overview of all bank and card activity.

Can you import from mint?
Yes, but you have to do a separate import per account with separate CSV per account. There is no bulk import for all accounts.
Monarch doesn't have this limitation but their support is terrible.

Are there any good options?

I've been very happy with Simplifi and it seems they are giving Mint users a free year to try it out:

Workflowy. You won't know what you're missing until you try it.
