I bought a sandwich maker 1.5 years ago and it just broke. It says it came with a 3 year warranty, but the company doesn't seem to have CS (there's no phone number and they don't answer their email address. Any chance amex would let me use their warranty instead?

It was $40, it's an expensive one with removable plates and also does paninis and waffles. It's not your $12 version that you throw out every pesach :)

It was a while back, but these days I generally use a panini maker, it's usually better quality, faster to heat up, and doesn't have a latch (which always breaks)

Right but it doesn't do grilled cheese with those nice triangles!

Was Denied as they couldn't verify the manufacturer's warranty.
I reached out to these guys and no one responds.
ordered a new one to see what the manufacturer's warranty was. Turns out it has no manufacturer's warranty!

All my Amex cards still have an option to file a return protection claim including my gold card, marriot bonvoy card and amazon prime card. I thought return protection was cut from these cards. Is it a glitch on their part? Or I still have return protection on those cards.

None of the cards you listed have return protection you can file a claim but it most probably won’t get approved. Double check your card benefit guide
