Am I the only one that dealt with a rejection from Amex?
Everyone here only had positive experiences?

I was rejected once, I resubmitted the claim 2 days later and it was approved.

Just a quick question I recently bought a dyson vacuum for $250 on my Spg do I need to hold onto the receipt or if I ever need just tell them I bought it with my Amex and find the charge?

If you want to be on the safe side, keep it. Some cards let you upload it to Amex right away.

If they do cover iPhones, Amex's warranty is an extended warranty. Let's say you purchase Apple Care. Your warranty from Apple would be 2 years, followed by 1 additional year of Amex extended warranty. This gives you a total of 3 years, instead of 2 years if you don't get Apple Care.

Submitted a claim for my OnePlus One phone. The only proof of purchase that I received is the PayPal receipt. (PayPal was the only payment method accepted).

The text on the receipt is:
"Merchant
DA SHENG INTERNATIONAL TRADE CO., LIMITED
support@oneplus.net"

Just received a denial letter from Amex:

"Under the DESCRIPTION OF COVERAGE section of Extended Warranty, it states:
..."Extended Warranty will extend the terms of the original manufacturer's warranty for a
period of time equal to the duration of the original manufacturer's warranty, up to three (3)
additional years on warranties of five (5) years or less that are eligible in the United States
of America."... Our records indicate your warranty is not valid in the United States of
America.
Extended Warranty will extend the terms of the original manufacturer's warranty for a period of
time equal to the duration of the original manufacturer's warranty, up to one (1) additional year
on warranties of five (5) years or less that are eligible in the United States of America. OnePlus
only offers warranties on phones purchased on oneplue.net."

I bought the phone from with an invite last December from what I believe was the only site to buy the phone from.

Any advice?

I spoke to them. Because the name on the Paypal account is "DA SHENG INTERNATIONAL", they assumed that it was not purchased from "oneplus.net".
I explained their mistake and they credited the account,

Any chance that Amex will refund me for a Groupon I bought 4 days ago (Groupon general policy is 3 days)? I don't see anything explicitly against it in T&C, but I can see it being unclear. Anyone have thoughts or experience on this?
